David's images are inspired by contemplating the world of the human psyche.
A painter's language develops an alphabet over time in color and form. This language is not something the artist invented entirely on their own. Everyone contributes to it, uses it, is used by it. We project into the physical dimension from the relationships between the personal and collective psyche. We repeat and create myths in large and small personal ways, inseparable from our archetypes and reinventing them constantly . Often we are so busy living by experiencing our projections we don't observe them.
In the last five years I began developing ideas in an animated format integrating my images and ideas with my music. There's a couple dozen videos on Youtube among which a majority are my music combined with some of my paintings along with artwork and short film clips from others to tell the story of my songs and in a couple of cases videos I produced for friends
